The
Civil Defence Heritage Gallery was proposed in 1995
when the Central Fire Station was gazetted as a national
monument.
It is
located on the first two floors of the tower block in the
Central Fire Station in Hill Street.
Costing
S$3 million to set up, the gallery showcases photographs
of major fires in Singapore, as well as fire-fighting
equipment used in the early years.
