Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) to ease congestion on the Central
Expressway (CTE) will only be introduced after the opening of
the North-East MRT Line, scheduled for this December, said
Transport Minister YEO Cheow Tong when he opened Singapore's
first air-conditioned bus interchange in Toa Payoh Central

Monday, motorists driving past five expressway gantries between
9am and 9.30am will have to pay higher Electronic Road Pricing
(ERP) charges. An LTA statement yesterday said the new
charges are as follows: AYE and the three CTE gantries south of
Braddell Road S$1, PIE slip-road into the CTE S$1.50. The S$0.50
charge at the PIE Adam Road gantry has been scrapped from today.
