can get a residential fixed line voice service from StarHub
The new Digital Voice
service is being offered island-wide with telephone number ranges
starting from 6726 xxxx and 6728 xxxx.
Golden and silver
numbers are available.

StarHub's
new budget service VALUE 015 will be launched in the middle of June 2000.
It will compete with SingTel's BudgetCall 013 service. The VALUE 015
service is of a lower voice quality than IDD.
StarHub
did not offer domestic phone-line
services when it began operations in April 2000. StarHub CEO
Terry Clontz said on 13 Mar 2000 that building phone lines into all the
residential districts would be a losing proposition.
