APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN OF NATIONAL ARTS COUNCIL

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 1 (1) of the First Schedule to the National Arts Council Act, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts has appointed Mr Edmund Cheng Wai Wing to be the Chairman of the National Arts Council for a period of 3 years, with effect from 1st July 2005.

2. It is further notified for general information that Mr Edmund Cheng Wai Wing will cease to be the Deputy Chairman of the National Arts Council, with effect from 1st July 2005.
