National Parks Board and National Arts Council
will be rolling out a new series of free performances together at West Coast
Park from 18th December 2004, Saturday, from 5:00pm. |

Entitled A Cappella Attack!– Park Series, a total
of 12 concerts, the series will present performances by Singapore’s very own
talented A Cappella groups. |
|
A Cappella : Singing without the use of
instruments, shows only the prowess of the voices and the creativity of the
vocals, mind and body to perform music often performed with a band. It’s a new
and exciting phenomenon! |

Join us as we celebrate this festive season with
the first performance by Verve Enharmonics, a two girls and three guys group. |
|
Asia’s up and coming Beat Boxer, Peter Huang, will
be joining Verve Enharmonics in December with his solo vocal percussion
performance. The soloist is also leader of a local a cappella group, SKRITCH.
Peter will be showcasing different instrumentations with his voices and lead
in a vocal workout session. |
|
The subsequent series will take place on the 3rd
Saturday of every month, through 2005. |
